Mataian Wetland Ecological Park

Mataian Wetland Ecological Park is named after the aboriginal Mataian Tribe in the southeast part of Taiwan, and located at the foot of Masi Mountain in Hualien County. This natural wetland is a national-level protected area from the human's modernized development. Therefore, Mataian Wetland remains a variety of plants and animals since it flows the most clean water from the high mountain.
The government built interlaced wood footpaths crossing the whole area for allowing visitors to take walks, of course this construction should be fused with the environment.
